Bottle. Golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish, some caramel and some bread. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, caramel and some bread. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some caramel and some bread, faint hoppyness. Caramel sweetish märzen with bread - that’s it.

Bottle: Clear, light amber coloured, small head, moderate sweetish caramelly-toasty nose with a delicate metallic tinge; mild to moddrate sweet-bitter flavour, quite light bodied, soft nevertheless; slightly lingering and a bit drier caramelly-toasty finish with some chocolatey traces in the aftertaste. Not unpleasant…

330ml bottle. Clear amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, off-white head. Cautious caramel malty aroma with spicyness in best homoeopathic manner. Taste is minimally toasty malty, subtle sweetness, dry hoppy overtones. Low-key affair.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, deep amber colour with a big, firm and slightly tanned foamy head. Bready and mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel, a shy hint of veggetables and a tinge of spicy hops in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, quite light bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready cara-malt character with traces of hops; slim and mildly sweet and slightly bitter finish. Drinkable but no highlight. 22.II.13

Orange pour. Big almost orange head. Some lacing. Huge malt aroma with a yeasty bready note. Disappointing when it hits the tongue though. Really watered down version of the aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Röstiger, karamellmalziger Geruch. Malzig-fruchtiger Antrunk. Mittig Karamell, aromatische Hopfentöne, bitter werdend. Abgang malzbitter, röstig-karamellig. Bitter nachhallend. Gutes Bier.

0,33 L bottle from France (merci Papa!), served cold in a goblet. BB 19.11.09. NO26/09.

App.: Very deep golden, clear, remnants of a white head. Aroma: Some nice earthy caramel, fruity malts, a bit of wet ash and mineral, a bit British. Palate: Medium body and carbonation. Flav.: Light minerals, ashen, earthy hops, a touch of caramel, a touch of fruitiness; dry with some bitterness and some light British caramel to finish.

Not sure what to think of this...

A golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, more malty than the pils, light mineral notes. In mouth, another smooth pils with crisp malt, light mineral notes, fairly smooth, a bit maltier than the pils. BB 19-11-09. Bottle shared with Probstk, Nov. 26 2009. Merci Karl.

It is warm yellow-golden with a nice, white head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit and light caramel and grain. The moderately sweet flavor has notes of malt, fruit, light citrus and a little soft caramel before the dry and slightly citrussy finish. It’s harmonic and nice.
