Cloudy murky beige beer, rocky smooth off-white head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: banana, bit of spices, cloves, wheaty sourness. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: banana, bit bready, dough, little sour, sweet fruitiness, sweet ripe banana. Aftertaste: banana, spices, some cloves, little bitter, lemon zest.

Cloudy amber with a thick beige head, this beer had notes of banana and spices.

On draught at the brewpub. This brew is a cloudy brownish-amber color with a medium foamy light beige head that recedes steadily. Sparse patches of lacing on the glass. Wheaty aroma with banana and malt notes. Light body with a sweet banana character and notes of dark malts and wheat. The finish is yeast up front with a banana aftertaste. Fairly average overall.

My Bottom Line :
Disshevelled wheat envelops clove phenols before honeyed bananas make a subtle appearance.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A creamy sheet of foam covers the cloudy orange-y blond.
-This Weizen is not nearly as polished as the mighty Weihenstephaner or the equally inspiring version from Lindenbräu Waldbronn.
-The rustic mouthfeel can be charming.
-Drinkability is fine, which is this brew’s main purpose, I presume.
-You can tell this brew comes from the same system as their Kraüsen Same mouthfeel, same level of residual sugars, roughly the same base ingredients, etc.

Murky medium grey orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, banana, rubber and sulfur notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20100927]

Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Medium sized yellow head. Strong banana in aroma with nice spices, some berries also come up. Medium bodied. Flavor is also good with crispy palate. Banana dominates with rich spices too, some berry fruitiness also here. Good one.

Biggish white head does not last. Hazy opaque deep yellow body. Spicy yeasty banana aroma with chalky notes. Sweetish banana taste with herbal spicy notes. Some chalk as well. Dryish chalky grassy aftertaste ends up in sweet banana gum taste. Nice! (0.3l draft at the brewpub.)
