Light unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, moderate yeasty, horse blanket, soap. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (110708)

Bottle, September 08. Slightly hazy golden orange color with a nice, denese, creamy white head. Spicy, yeasty aroma with some earthy hops. Spicy, fruity flavor, evident coriander, some citric notes with a warming finish. Medium to light mouthfeel, flavor packed but with a nice dry finish that keeps it really drinkable in spite of its strength. Nice, creamy, spicy tripel.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2013 superseding previous shit: 7:4:7:4:14=3.6 super fantastic triple. So soft, so drinkable.
330ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam) (6:3:7:3:14=3.3)
Rich orange, floaty bits, tiny head. Very light, almost wheaty, maltiness - sweet and with lots of light fruits. Pleasant carbonation in the mouth. Sweet and malty body, quite simple at first, mostly lightly roasted malts, but soon a tingly hoppy bite kicks in. Evidence of alcohol as it helps waft the fruity vapours up the nose, but that’s entirely fitting, no harshness at all. Something almost leguminous in the aftertaste. Not as good as some of their other brews, but still pretty solid.
rerate: 330ml bottle (koht, Tallinn) (6:3:7:4:14=3.4)
mostly as before, but this time the aroma is just so lemony it’s almost caricatured, like a lemonade. Palate is crisp, quite fullband grainy, but also very light. Finish keeps the bitterness nicely. There’s a strange spearmint aspect to it too. This time the beer is so light in every aspect, there’s no sign of alcohol at all anywhere at any time. Impressive.

(33cl) Sampled at the Brasseurs du Temps pre-party on August 27, 2008. Pours a thin, dissipating frothy head with a clear, light amber. Nose of milk, green leaf and pennies. Full-bodied, lactic, tonic with lemon finish. Okay. 4/3/4/2/9

Bright gold colour with thin head. Dry flavour. A little spicy but lacking any great depth of flavour.

On tap at ’t Arendsnest. Hazy pale golden with a creamy, lacing head. Spicy aroma with a lot of coriander. Coriander flavours, good bitterness balancing the sweet malty base. Full-bodied. Quite nice, even if one-dimensional.
