3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Poured a cloudy beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light coriander and Belgian malt is quite good. Taste is a nice mix between some spices which probably includes coriander with some Belgian malt with some light funky ester at the end. Full body with limited filtration and some great carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Well done overall and another nice beer form this solid brewery.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
It’s an orange/yellow hazy beer, with a smal white head. It is a kind a triple, but different. Aromas of cookie, some peache and honey. It has a taste of sweet, spicy, hoppy ingredients. It’s not a comman triple. A very fine and special beer with a medium body.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
My Bottom Line:
Spicy orange fruitiness softly grows out of the cushiony doughy yeast and base cereal trunk, reaching fluffy skies and unpretentious drinkability. This unassuming, fruity Tripel is a clean and solid interpretation of the style which won’t get people excited, but which could satisfy those who appreciate flavorful simplicity.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the hazy golden.
-There are a few traces of alcohol warmth, but they are by no means bothersome.
-The spiciness is definitely made up of coriander seeds and orange zest.
-Subtle herbal hops support the background.
Bottle; best before Dec.’08.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Cloudy deep orange, medium fairly lasting white creamish head. Sweet yeasty wheaty, malty caramel aroma, flavour the same with more sweetness, ripe fruits and yeast.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
33 cl bottle from Bieropholie, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. BB 12 2008.
App.: Cloudy orangey-golden with an off-white head that fades quickly.
Aroma: Sweet grapes and other fruitiness, yeast and dough, coriander and citrus peel.
Palate: Medium body, soft but full effervescence.
Flav.: Yeast, citrus, sweet grapes and fruits, dough, coriander, some alcohol, a touch of bitterness and a bit sweet.
Meh, pretty uninteresting, especially for a Tripel. Neat label, though.

[thank you, BelJohansen]
Pours a muddy yellow with a creamy frothy off white head. Aroma is powerfully spicy, actually feels like a little chili?! Some coriander and oranges mix in well. Great creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet at first, but has a good spicy edge and a clear vinious streak. The chili feel pops up again in the flavour :o)
