Golden ale with a sweet malt aroma and some seashore salts and algaes. Nice coriander in mouth, with sweet honey and nice alcohol burn. Light and charming this one! May 1,2005 at 2nd KBC Festival, Den Bosch, NL.

bottle. hazy golden with a good foamy head. Fruity and yeasty nose with a hint on skunkyness. tastes fruity and spicy with a little bit of yeast. finishes with a bit of hops. This beer feels like it should be better than it is.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2010 Bottle. Hazy, golden colour. Nice, white long-lasting hea. Fruity aromas, with an unpleasant hint of dish-washing soap. Lots of grapefruit-taste. Some alcohol in aftertaste, along with a little banana. Rating: 6-4-7-4-16-3.7. 050923

Bottle. It’s a slightly unclear golden beer, gushing out of the bottle, producing a dense, off-white head. Some small floaties too. The aroma is slightly, only slightly, spiced and sourish, with sugar and tropical fruits. A bit weak. The flavor is very fruity. Citrus and tropical fruits, quite a lot of white sugar and with a decent bitterness. Effervescent and full-bodied. The finish is bitter with white sugar. A quite nice one, but not entirely clean. Drinks well though. 100813

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, dark amber with lots of floating impurities. Small, creamy, off-white head which never collapses completely. Fruity nose with pronounced notes of coriander and yeast. Lightly perfumy flavour (coriander again) with lots of soft malt. Distinct bitter hops in the finish. Quite typical Tripel. 110805

Bottled. A slight haze to this orange coloured beer which has a small off-white head. The aroma is quite sweet (maybe some honey??) and there is some spice too. The taste is spicy and sweet. There are notes of oranges and a little banana in the aftertaste. Tasty but lacks depth.

Hugh (153) - Zillebeke, BELGIUM - JUL 14, 2005
UPDATED: AUG 11, 2005 Draught: Oh dear - this formerly fine tripel has hit the rocks. Terrible alka-seltzer-soap flavour now ruins the experience. The same flavour is now in Schoenlappertje and Zeeuws Kersenbier, implying a change in the yeast or some other tragic compromise. The brewery needs to do something NOW to save their reputation.

Draught Greenish shine trough golden-amber beer; some off-white head. Coriander, and lots of it in the nose. Some seaweed nose as well. Coriander, again, too much, and a pinch of salt at the end. The rest is SWEET. Sticky MF, light to medium body. Spicey aftertaste. Not that good. They make MUCH better; in fact, I’m sure I had this "Zeezuiper" better - from the bottle.

Hazy orange body, small white head. Yeasty aroma, fruity. Nice and sweet flavor. Ends rather dry. Decent beer.

Bottled: Dusty orange coloured. Not much head. Some yeast, light citric notes and spices in the aroma. Fruits, sweetness, spices and lots of yeast in the flavour. Is somewhat bitter and fruity in the end.

An unclear orange beer with a disappearing head. The aroma is of yeast, rosehips, and oranges and is quite sweet. The flavor is very powerful yeasty and spicy.
