Dulle Griet beer: the sweet aroma of caramel, the rounded malty flavor.

Bottle 33cl. Deep dark brown with a light brown top that fades. Aroma has bitter tones with hints of wood. Taste is a little flat at first, a malty experience. Then again tones of wood, bitterness with a spicy aftertaste. Not bad, not very special too, although itís not your everyday beer like the bottle states.

Kruidig biertje, niet te zoet. Behoorlijk koolzuur. Beetje vreemde bijsmaak. Gedronken @home ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark brown with medium off-white head. Aroma of plums, raisins, sour cherries. Taste is nicely balanced bitter sweet with loads of dark fruit and a light refreshing sour note. Iíve found the other Scheldebrouwerij beers Iíve had so far to be rather lackluster but Dulle Griet is a winner.

From tap at BierCab, Barcelona. Dark brown, almost black color with small beige brown head. Very nice aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark fruits, light caramel. Taste is sweet and bitter, like the aroma but not so intense. Medium body almost oily with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared with McTapp. A solid one with a sour touch and asome bread in the back. Easily drinkable with a bit of rye and some raisins towards the end. Not bad.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. The beer pours out in a hazy dark golden-amber colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of Belgian yeast, malt and cloves. Taste of Belgian yeast, bread, hops, malt, flowers, cloves and fruits. Easy drinkable with a quaffable character. Enjoyed it.
