Brune classique, effervescence gazeuse, col beige. Malts caramel à peine rôtis, légère amertume réglissée, belle douceur fruitée, rien aqueuse (et c’est bien dommage!), un peu sèche.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
33cl bottle. Pours in layers: yeast is of some strange gravity, that it floats 1cm under head - on of the best looking beers I have seen recently. Aroma of sugar, caramel, yeast, abbey cellars and bar beer cellars as well. Gently sweet, medium bitter and medium yeasty sour - extremely fine balance here. Medium to full body, oily, slick texture, carbonation, again, is observed from all the layers of poured beer (and not just from the bottom). Do not drink this beer as your fitst beer of the evening, have an apéritif lager or light dunkel. P.S. Reminds me of my first cider batch, that was as "organic" as possible - yeast is all natural here.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, 330 ml, poured into an oversized wine glass at home. ABV 6.5%
Brown in colour, more like a very deep red, with almost two fingers of light beige head with good retention and light lacing on the glass.
Aroma of lightly roasted malts, a bit of iron, faint chocolate that becomes stronger as it warms up and faint red stewed fruits. Not bad at all.
Taste is quite sweet, with some malts and lots of red grapes, giving it a very wine-like flavour.
Nice medium thick body, good carbonation. It gives a warming, boozy feeling although it’s just a 6.5% beer. Mild dryness on the palate.
Tasty and enjoyable beer afterit reached its recommended temperature, the "off" aromas disappeared and what was l left with was a great beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice dubbel but could have used a bit more booze. Nice heavy nutty and toasted malts and big dried candied fruits. Sweet and sultry taste with a ton of raisins and light caramel notes. Mild and sweet malty taste with a good Belgian yeast quality. Great beer overall!

Bottled 0,33L. Amber brown color, good foamy head of discreet duration, fraught aspect. Moderate malty and caramel aroma, roast corn and cellar. Good prickly and medium solid taste, caramel and malty body with a quite sweet final of discreet persistance.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a dark brown, medium clear beer with a small amount of tanned head. Aroma of red fruits, malts ams Belgian yeast. Some spices detected, molasses and slight licorice. Flavour is quite sweet and has a watery mouthfeel. Quote bland and uninteresting, yet nothing wrong with it.
