3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, Rehills, Ncl. Rich fruity aroma of raisins, plums and sweet malt. Pours a nice deep reddy-brown with a thickish off white head. Soft and warming, with sweetness all the way through. Plenty of bready flavours and red fruit leave a really satisfying aftertaste. Really pleased I picked this up.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Starts off well pouring deep ruby-brown with stewed plums, bruised pears and candy sugar on the nose. The flavour however is full of higher alcohols, slightly solvent and far too much pear- a shame. Fairly thin bodied too.
