Not generally being a fan of blonde beers this one is quite enjoyable. Smooth palate, some spicyness. Bottle from Van Erp in Groningen.

Draught at Cafe buitenlust, Oirschot. Decent beer, but pretty average on all criteria. Only thing that stands out just a little is the carbo which is a little bit lively. Decent, but not much to tell about this beer.

Had this one from tap when it was ABT beer of the month september 2010. Decent beer, not too special but overall it’s pretty balanced and tastes nice. Easy to drink.

ABV. 7.0%. Unclear medium orange yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, tropical fruit, grassy, soapy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus peel bitter, moss, forest earthy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101221]

Tap @ Café Morshuis Albergen. Blonde. Floral, soft hopbitter dusty flavor. Floral grassy aftertaste. Soapy. No specific aroma. Forgettable.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2010 [9/23/10] Draught at De Wildeman in Amsterdam. Clear golden. Fruity aroma with yeast, light spicy hints and citrus. Sweetish fruity flavor. Medium-bodied.

Bottle@1stOktoberfestEmelisse. Citrus and light alcoholic aroma. Yellow colour, white head, good lace. Sweet, well hopped but not too extreem, easy going.

Bottle at Emelisse Oktoberfest 2010. Quite boring slightly sweet Belgian style ale. Some spices, some sweet malts and quite watery. Medium body. Boring.

On tap at In Der Wilderman, Amsterdam. Clear golden body with a creamy off white head. Spices, caramel, hops and fruit in the aroma and flavour.

A clear golden colored beer, with a thick foamy white head. The aroma of hop bitters, fruits like citrus. The taste of hops, sweet fruits, a little citrus with some spices. The aftertaste is bitter dry with fruitness sweet.
