darker golden appearance than your traditional triple but same classic white head. nose is of sweet malts. flavor is much sweeter than the traditional belgian tripel with a sweet ,alty start and only a slight bit of that banana-like tangy hop fnish that is classical of belgian tripels. the finish is dry with some caramal notes at the end. probably the most different tripel i have ever had.

Oct 7, 2008 Murkily-bodied with a dense, sepia/amber color under a holding ecru head. Yeast and malt abound in both aroma and flavor, while alcohol comes in a close third... banana and raisin behind. Rich and chalky, the overall feel is that I’m drinking a dessert, especially considering its sweet, cake-like flavors which mimmick the aroma. Decadent.

Sep 21, 2008 TFODRBSG08 Courtesy of thewolf. It’s hazy golden with a creamy head. The aroma has sweetness, notes of malt, caramel, fruit and a little citrus. The flavour has quite a lot of sweetness, notes of malt, light and dark fruits, among others raisin and citrus and some candy sugar. I like it, but it’s a beet too sweet.

Sep 3, 2008 Bottle. Courtesy of thewolf. Hazy yellow with a small head. Spicy and caramel aroma and flavour. Some coriander as well. You sense the alcohol but in a pleasant way.

Aug 27, 2008 75cl bottle. Hazy yellow with a small white foam & sediments floating around. Nose & taste is matured malty, yeasty & fruity orange. Full & smooth body. Nice!
