Hop Ruiter (Hop Rider) has a full, almost rustic malt body, and pairs Belgian yeast-driven flavors with American assertive hoppiness. It is dry hopped, with two noble varieties which add complexity, delicacy and a bit of funk.

Misty orange copper body and big bubbly white head. Mine was pretty cold, but still aromatic, with orange peel, fresh hops, white bread, perfume and a sweet cookie base. Lovely. Interplay between a tasty Belgian sweetness in the base and a fair amount of hops to top off. Never super bitter, but does have the taste of hops. Saison like feel to this. Alcohol is within limits, too. Quite a positive surprise this one, even though the brewer is solid anyway. Delicious! (75cl bottle)

Hazy golden body, small creamy white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, fruity yeast and hay. The taste is medium to heavy sweet, but well balanced with a nive aromatic medium bitter finish. Soft feel and a creamy texture.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a yeasty thick dark blond and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a light koriander touch . This beer smells to hop.

Tallahassee, FL - New Leaf Market - 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a murky medium orange with a sticky snow white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is serviceable with some light bubble gum accents, a hint of clove. Flavor has some yeasty accents, some rising sweet raw dough, a hint of cloves. Mouthfeel has a pleasant thickness to it. Very workman-like Belgian - fairly decent.

On tap. First off, not very Belgian Tripel in taste or appearance, but certainly very good. Pours a clear pale yellow with a decent white head. Has a sweet aroma that is hard to define. Taste is sweet pale malt with a mild fresh hop bitterness. Not complex by any means, but very refreshing and tasty. More like a good ramped up Euro pils. ABV is virtually un-noticed. Nice.
