From notes. First reviewed 1/10/2011. Poured from a 750 mL bottle into in a chalice. Brewed and bottled by De Scheldebrouwerij, Meer, Belgium. Good design on the bottle.
Hop - Ruiter pours a turbid blonde color out of the bottle with a big fluffy white head. Decent retention on the cap and some nice lacing.
Pale malt and bubble gum predominate the aroma, with white grape skin, apples, and herbal noble hops providing support.
The start of the flavor is an obvious pale malt with some juicy white grape skin adding a light sweetness. A little bubble gum, Belgian yeast follow, and the finish is crackery dry.
Creamy but dry, with above average carbonation wrapped in a medium body. This leaves my tongue dry, with a light oily residue.
Sharp, dry, but with a bubble gum sweetness. This is a very drinkable beer.

750 ml bottle from Bert’s Better Beers, $10.95. Poured into my Allagash Chalice. Pleasant nose of Citrus, yeast and hops. Ample carbonation in a slightly hazy gold. ˝ inch white head that laced and stayed until the last sip. Noticeable yeast particles floating around the liquid. Nice hop presence right up front of the sip, mellowing into Belgian yeast, pale malts and lemon zest. Body is light with a dry finish. Amazing drinkability @ 8.5 % abv. I finished the entire bottle with ease. Solid!

The beer is a hazy straw color with a medium frothy white head that evaporates slowly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, bready malt and fruit. Medium body with a fruity character and notes of yeast, grassy hops and sweet malt. The finish is sweet with a fruity yeast aftertaste. Above average all around.
