Hop Ruiter (Hop Rider) has a full, almost rustic malt body, and pairs Belgian yeast-driven flavors with American assertive hoppiness. It is dry hopped, with two noble varieties which add complexity, delicacy and a bit of funk.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra, Tiel. Hazy light amber with a white head. Nice hoppy aroma with a hint of Belgian yeast. Strong citrus taste with a nice creamy mouthfeel. Great beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks TomL. Hazy blond with white head. Bun and a little honey aroma, sweetish taste with hints of green, celery and very little brettiness. Smooth texture, long finish.

Bottle - hazy gold - lively body, with a frothy, thick lace - nose of rustic, toasted grain malts, honey, pear, along with moderately peppery and grassy hops, some light muskiness, acidic apple character - lively carbonation, but pretty soft in the mouth - sweet flavors of honey, pear - some cracked grain malt flavors - peppery and spicy hops, cut grass - light mineral note - light warmth in the finish - pretty good hoppy belgian.

Tutto sommato molto buona!

At a tasting, thanks tom, big bubbley head, , murky deep yellow, greyish colour, aroma of herbs and flowers, some honey and hints of citrus and rose petals in the back, flavour of herbal tea with fruitiness, strong and a touch coarse grapefruit bitterness. Nice and quite interesting but just as touch too sweet.
