COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Ruiter (Hop Rider) has a full, almost rustic malt body, and pairs Belgian yeast-driven flavors with American assertive hoppiness. It is dry hopped, with two noble varieties which add complexity, delicacy and a bit of funk.

Cloudy yellow color, medium white head. Sweet aroma of malt, spice, yeast, grass, some fruity and floral notes. Dry sweet taste has similar notes with medium bitter hoppy finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Quite interesting beer and pretty drinkable too,

Hazy golden with a lasting, thick white head. Spicy yeast aroma, with plenty of grassy/herbal hopsand notes of citrus. Flavour is rather sweet, spicy and fruity, with notes of dark sugar, licorice, and dried fruit. There’s a bitter finish, but it’s too sweet for my taste

33cl bottle from ABC beers, Den Haag. I was interested in the description on the bottle of a "Blond hoppy beer". It’s a typical Belgian strong ale, sweet, funky, yeasty and slightly dry. Lots of apple in the flavor, lingering bitterness in the aftertaste and overall nothing offensive. Good

Serving: Bottle. Hazy dark amber pour with a frothy off white head. Dusty nose with a little sweetness, yeast, and grass. Light florals, yeast, and grass on the tongue. A little sweet on the front end but dry and dusty on the back end. I was surprised to see it is 8.5% as it drinks much lighter. Good stuff.

Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has a golden/blonde color and a nice large white head, with a lot of bubbles. The aroma is very hoppy, with tones of malts, spring flowers, citrus and a lot of hops. The taste is malty and a little sweet with tones from the citrus fruits to change in a hoppy bitterness which could have been a little stronger. The finish is light bitter and dry but also a little watery. Overal a pretty good beer. Not my favorite hop beer but it’s not bad at all.
