Hop Ruiter (Hop Rider) has a full, almost rustic malt body, and pairs Belgian yeast-driven flavors with American assertive hoppiness. It is dry hopped, with two noble varieties which add complexity, delicacy and a bit of funk.

Notes: Pours a pale hazy yellow. Nose of dusty, dry yeast, mild table sugar sweetness, and a good sharp citrus hop kick. Flavor follows- grapefruit and lemon citrus hop notes and bitterness sit on top of a mild, restrained sweet body. Sweetness blends well with musty dry yeast character. Sharp bitterness. Very dry and clean on the palate and finish. Overall, a great example of a hoppy belgian pale.

Small frothy off-white diminishing head with cloudy dark yellow body. Light citrus hops. Slight dough yeast. Medium-light oily body with average carbonation. Average duration flavor lightly acidic and harshly bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Hazy orange. Citrussy, leafy green hops on nose, malts, some booze shining through. Pretty nice full malty body. Some huskyness, bitter, hop leafy. Ok. Very belgian in style. Easy drink despite the hefty abv.

This beer has a strong malt taste, without being to bitter. A typical Americanstyle stronger beer but from a Belgian brewery.

Orange with golden hue, frothy head, bit murky, gentle carbonation. A: very fruity and hoppy, with pineapple, pine, lemon. Faintest hint of carrot juice. Reminds of ipa, but it's not that harsh. T: starts fruity again, with notes of exotic fruit. Develops a fruity, doughy bitterness, with a distinct boozy sensation. Not bad. Aftertaste is fruity.
