Nice blond beer, orange, golden coloured. Malty and fruity aroma. The caramel malts are nice in the flavor. Also hoppy and not too sweet. Overall very nice.

(bottle) Hazy light brown colour with a small slightly off-white creamy head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and yeasts. Sweet malty taste with caramel and orange peels, lasting hoppy and medium bitter finish with a peppery spice. Not bad.

Big thanks to maeib for this bottle, cheers Mark. Hazy orange with thin white head. Hop, yeast, tangerine, bit of cream on the aromas. All these flavours carry on into the mouth and are added to by some whiskey and candy sugar. Good fruit throughout and an extremely enjoyable beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 28, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a dense white head. Fruity aroma with some basement aromas. Fruits and malts in the taste, with some hops. Quite long aftertaste even though it’s not too much hops in it. Thx to KØLF. Rating: 6-3-6-3-14-3.2.(050923
Bottle, at Cardinal. A slightly hazy, golden beer with a two-finger off-white head. Peaches, some tea, white sugar and spiced hints in the aroma. The flavor is sweet and peachy, with some alcohol, wheat and a decent bitterness. Medium to full body, a bit on the sticky sweet side. Sweet finish with some bitternes and spices. Sure, a fine beer, but I would like it dried. 090728

330 ml bottle, bought at Kent Beer Festival. Murky amber colour. Sweetish. Lots of spice. Modest tangy hop character. Bags of yeast. Nice enough in a run of the mill sort of way.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tropical fruits and herbal hops greet the nose. Opaque tan coloured body with low, off-white head that diminishes rapidly to ring. Sugary sweetness in the tropical fruit flavour is offset nicely by grassy, herbal hops and fair finishing bitterness. Medium-light body with fairly low carbonation that seems appropriate. Bottle with chris_o.

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy, pale golden ale with a dense, tall head. Malty but not very sweet in spite of the added candy sugar. A touch of sourness. Almost Tripelish.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled . ABV 7% Cloudy golden colour. Medium lacey head. Malty, sweet, caramelly, slightly yeasty aroma. Malty, medium sweet, slightly honeyish, caramelly, somewhat spicy and a little fruitiness. Some citrus fruitiness. Ends hoppy, but only slightly bitter. Quite quaffable for a Belgian strong ale. Nice. Many thanks to bierkoning for this.
