33 cl. bottle@home // purchased @ ALBO // fun name // love the logo on the bottle cap // not particularly invigorating lightly hazy orange, little in the way of a head, some white spots // not particularly crazy about appearance // smell is tuned down liquid from canned peaches (but not as awesome as that), candy sugar, spices, dusty grainy // taste is alternative grains, tuned down liquid from peaches, moderate sweetness, candy sugar, lightly fruity, Belgian esters, spices in the only lightly finish, some hops // oily body with like some small pieces floting, not really awesome to get them // sounds better than it is, this not that good & not particularly enjoyable flavours, this is at most ok // I suppose that I am not the connoisseur that the description is looking for

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 ALLOVATE (2098) - Butler, AUSTRALIA - JUN 13, 2012
Tasting from 2009. Produces a hazy, orange gold with a tawny tinge. Head held high for an instant before retreating back to a messy white and tight pad fuelled by minute, well conditioned carbonation. Initially the nose is all dusty, powdery and grainy malt, fresh cracked. Apple comes through, as does butter (good so far!), then a little spice, grass, yeast and stonefruit shows. Oddly more fruit shines on the palate. Pale rock candi front, peach, pear, mango and a tangy lick of lime atop pale, grainy malt. Vinous back, only lightly bitter, dropping off shy with a quaint winey warmth. Subtle yeastiness, tangy overall from the fruit esters, medium-light bodied and with enough bounce from the carbonation to see it race across the palate. A session ale, Belgian style! Troebelig goudgeel, een kraag die vrij snel weg weg is. Ruikt zoetfruitig. Smaakt bitterzoet en wat citrusfruitig. Weinig body helaas. Niks bijzonders.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Huubs (140) - NETHERLANDS - APR 29, 2012
Aldus Huubs.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 EithCubes (4193) - New Jersey, USA - APR 24, 2012
Bottle 06/2013. Nose is dusty with straw and a coating of Belgian hops, it’s a cloudy orange body with a rocky white head. Very dry taste, Belgian IPA type hops but without huge bitterness, but there’s enough (especially with no major sugars). Yeast is actually relatively downplayed, as well, which allows just a glimmer of heavy malt to peek through. Full body and more of a “that’s enough for today” type for dinner.

Hazy unfiltered golden yellow with thick white foam head. Quite bitter hop taste, tongue tickling through high carbon content. Lasting taste

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Bosskie (256) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 31, 2012
Hay/wood-coloured transparent beer with a weak frothy head and light carbonation.
Rotten-fruit heavy alcoholic sweetness on the nose with hints of spices and moutiness. Reminds me of an amber beer.
The taste is also amber-like with an acid fruity feel, comforting alcoholic warmness and bitter-sour aftertaste.
