1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 77ships (2156) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - APR 14, 2013
33 cl. bottle @ home. Purchased @ Willems. BBF 12/2013. Pours a clear apple golden, head vanishes quickly leaving only unappealing white patches. Smell clearly sets this one in unpleasant macro pils / pale lager territory, mouldy apples, wet hay, grains, light sweet skunk, corn, white sugar and a bit artificial sweet. Taste is corn, grain, iron, nasty macro pils / pale lager, metallic, nasty sweet apples, actually some light EU hops, bitter finish but nullified a bit by sweet white sugar, corn etc. Fizzy, odd yeasty body. Ingredients list indeed corn malt as being part of this concoction. The label list this as being their only filtered and pasteurized beer. Seeing that this is actually brewed in Huyge, should have had lower expectations. You may want to skip this one.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bloekie (210) - BELGIUM - DEC 18, 2012
Clear golden pilsner. Very malty, a little sweet. Actually smells and tastes like the brewing process itself. Not bad.

2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Countbeer (2853) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - NOV 22, 2011
Bottle:
Small to medium pretty vast white head on top of clear yellow colored beer.
Smell is dominated by cardboard but has also hints of herbs, cleaner, light hint of candy sweet and older malts.
Taste is better than smell and all by all pretty light but not that bad at all: some light fruits, light sour, medium bitterness, some hops, herbs, malts, light dry.
Soft herby bitter light hoppy aftertaste.
Medium carbo, tingly mouthfeel, low to more medium body and a very light creamy texture.
Overall: the smell is bad but taste is quite nice.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Benzai (4344) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - NOV 22, 2011
Bottle @ home. Not much to tell really. Average on all criteria. Typical, standard pilsener appearance: clear yellow / golden, decent sized white head. Smell malts, some grains. Taste malts, grains, lightly bitter. Weak aftertaste, low body.
2.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 IluvatarMilan (190) - Eindhoven, NETHERLANDS - NOV 22, 2011
Nice golden body with a full white head. Horrible aroma, very unbalanced and plain nasty. Taste is much better, very smooth with a nice mouthfeel. Nothing in the taste is offensive, even some fresh hops, very drinkable, lightly sweet. Aftertaste too unremarkable to notice.

33cl Bottle bought at Brouwmarkt. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, floral, light hay, light malty. Flavour is sweet, light malty, light fruity and floral, light bitter hoppy finish. Light bodied. Not bad, but boring.
