the almonds is much present in the taste with smoth alcohole and not so much phenoles.

Home 20110225 (33 cl bottle): A dark yellow beer with a good white head. A sweet aroma with a very nice malty smell and some good hops.Fruity (appel, peach, abricot) and a little vanille. A sweet alcoholic malty taste with some fruit and good hop in the finish. A little too alcoholic.

Flaske: Gul øl med en god del proteinklumper i bunden, så hæld forsigtig. Duften er gær og malt og meget typisk belgisk. Ekstyrem drikbar på trods af sine over 9% hvilket gør den særdeles farlig, men ellers er den ikke synderlig speciel. Solid and thats it.

De color ambar y corona de espuma bastante permanente para su graduación, por fin me ha sorprendido una belga como para comentarla aquí.
En nariz se mezclan cítricos y levaduras, sin embargo en boca es una auténtica macedonia de frutas que se desvanece hacia un amargor de lúpulo bastante simplón.

Golden, head is not impressive. Smell tells me this could be some sort of trippel. Aroma is brilliant. There’s caramel, toffee, a bit floral or raisin and some yeast bits. Really good.

Hazey dirty gold in color with nice soft white head. A sweet aroma spiked with a Belgian yest tone. A clean stong golden ale with hinst of spice and banana, deceptively strong

Dark yellow colored with little white head, cloudy appearance. Sweet and citrusy aroma with some appricot and spices. Medium bodied, carbonated palate. Flavor is even more citrusy with some alcohol note, aftertaste dries a lot with yeast and still obvious alcohol. Rather one-dimensional.

6 Massively winey aroma. Sweet and grapey, and a little sharp too.
4 Slightly hazy amber, tiny self-supporting tight head.
6 Again very winey, particularly in the retronasals, the alcohol wafts up quite assertively. Decent bready graininess, but drowned out by the bitter bite of the hops and the burn of the alcohol.
3 Biting palate, crisp carbonation. That finish, with both alcohol and noble hops, is absolutely tingling!
11 Possibly tried to be too much. It’s not unpleasant, but the alcohol is too prominant. No brewing flaws, though, just imbalanced by design - needs more heaviness to the body, more bread.
