3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
it’s hard to find any oyster taste, if you didn’t know it was an oysterstout you probably would not have tasted it. Creamy stout with some sweetness, might be my favorite beer from de Scheldebrouwerij. Had this at a friend’s place, who got it in one of those beersubscriptions.

Almeno le conchiglie le hanno usate, però per una vera oyster stout ci vorrebbe l’ingrediente vero; molto pulita e sobria, lascia un discreto spazio alla nota salmastra del finale che però non è fra le più aggressive. Buona.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Beautiful dark, black beer with a slightly brown head. Nice aroma of chocolate and mokka. Sweet, well balanced flavour, reminds me also of mokka and has a chocolate finish. Less body than you’ll expect from a stout but that is’t disturbing. Nice one, I’m going to by this one again when the winter starts. (Bottle 33cl)

Bottled. Pours brown with a red glow and a one fingers high, creamy, beige head. Nose of yeast, lightly roasted malt and notes of dried fruits. Soft carbonation. Flavour of bread, dark dried fruits and chocolate notes. Medium bodied. Creamy texture. Soft malt bitterness in the finish. An OK and pleasant brew.
