Zeer donker bier met een weeïg aroma. Ook stroop in te herkennen. Beige schuimkraag, die geheel verdwijnt.

Bottle at Monks. Opaque brown pour with a frothy tan head. Dark and sweet. Liquorice. Molasses. Can definitely taste the oysters. Feels like a variation of a Roquefort 10 (believe it or not). Warms up to a little dark red pit fruit. Slight peat. Leather. Medium body. Really good stuff.

@ ’t paultje. Pours a nice brown amber beer with a not very long lasting head. Coffee smell. A bit roasty. It tasted sweet. A bit coffee ish. Nice carbo, sticky end.

Bottle 33cl, a dark beer with huge copper head. Nose is low on dark malt. Aroma is very roasted and coffee like with a vinous like note, dry, over riped grapes, licorice, slightly salted ? Interesting kind of stout.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with red hints and large head. Aromas of heavily roasted malts, vanilla, café au lait, and light sour fruit. Flavors of watery black coffee, vanilla, ash, and perhaps some dark fruit. Oily and warm.

Bottle 330ml @ Sommerhus
Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, licorice and chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long sweet finish. Body is full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft.

a good balance of roasted chocolate and coffee. solid but unexciting, and a little bit on the thin side too. just had after the massive green flash double stout had demolished my mouth though, so perhaps a bit of unfair comparison.

Bottle at home. A very well balanced stout. Hints of chocolate and roasted coffe. Low carbonation (a bit too low imho).

Black body with no light going thorough. Tan fair brown head. Chocolaty on the nose, simple but very nice. Body is light, low carbonation. Taste is definitely chocolaty, some caramel, with plums and dried raisins in the background. Alcohol in after taste.
