3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a reddish hue and a dense off-white head. Aroma is what I now seem to sense as Scheldebrouwers yeasty with a touch of dried fruit and slight chalky. Very subdued light roasted. Flavour is mild and smooth chocolate malty with a touch of dried fruit. Nice lingering finish, somewhat simple but nice.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
An opaque brown beer with a beutiful beige head. The aroma is sweet with hints of sourness, prunes, and chocolate. The flavor is very complex on a background of sweet malt it combines prunes, raisins, chocolate, licorice to end on a nice bitterness from a good hop.

[Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm] Completely black, near no head. Aroma of tobacco and fruit. Medium dry with near full body and clean mouthfeel. There are notes of chocolate, but with it’s hard mouthfeel the flavours does not really take off. Short finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark amber color. Strange aroma: malt, caramel, sweet, some phenol, sea water. Quite good, balanced, with some sweetness, caramel, liquorice… A light, undefined, original note.
