Bottle. Low but lasting off-white head. Pitch black body. Coffee aroma with distinct and dominating alcohol. Mild coffee flavor with berries and a hint of the alcohol plus some acidity. A good deal of carbonation to tickle your tongue. Long and mild coffee aftertaste.

Jul 25, 2008 bottle- pours light black dark tan. no head. nose is wet leaves. muddy murky earth. root beer. peach. taste is light butter. and cloyingly sweet. what a let down. way to sweet with only a subtle hint of tart to balance.

Jun 27, 2008 Bottle. Dark brown and purple with an off-white foam. Aromas are sweet and smoky with traces of salt. Smooth chocolate with some peppery notes. Flavours are smooth chocolate and light coffee with caramel. Spicy and sweet.

May 5, 2008 Dark and poured with a small head. Slight bitterness but no really dominant flavours. No real alcohol presence despite its strength making it dangerous beer to drink. Very pleasant.
