COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Strandgaper is a real musselbeer. Its full, smooth malty flavor and refreshing bittersweet finish make it the ideal accompaniment to a mussel dish.

Golden colour with a small white head. Malty, fruity aroma with floral and yeasty citric notes. Malty, light fruity sweet flavor with a dry finish with a spicy note.

9/IV/13 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 12/2014 (2013-317) Thanks to Dimi for sharing the bottle!

Clear pale blond beer, huge creamy whtie head, pretty stable, little adhesive. Aroma: cheesy, coriander, orange peel, overripe banana, something off, can’t put my finger on it, but it smells bad. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: grains, orange peel, honey, quite bitter, grassy touch. Aftertaste: bitter, citrus, orange peel, sweet malts, honey, bit watery.

33 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via Paris. Pale golden, floral citrus aroma with coriander and some grainy cereal malt. Ginger and more citrus with spiced pepper, then lemon on the long dry finish.

The best blond beer I know right now. Really liking this brewery, they have a lot of great beer. A lot of nice smells and tastes in this beer.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast and fruits. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle at Huppel The Pub, Den Haag. Poured a hazy amber colour with a thin white head and a little lace. The aroma is hugely of Belgian yeast. The flavour is yeasty and malty without much else. It’s a nice, tasty beer and hugely satisfying

Pours medium white head. Colour yellow hazy gold. Aroma of tropical fruit, lime and citrus peel. Taste is banana, grapefruit, mead, lemongrass. Medium sweet and quite malty, sharply bitter. Carbonation low. Finish long, lemony. An interesting beer, but too much unripe banana and sharp bitterness for my liking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, light citrus, green banana and candy sugar. Quite hoppy flavour, malty and light sweet. Rather light body, light bitter finish.
