Dry beer with a fresh blackcurrant taste that isn’t too sharp. Good but not complex. daniele (1640), Italy Sep 3, 2009 violacea schiuma buona piuttosto persitente note fruttate molto chimico in bocca fruttato artificiale un po dolcist
o non armonica SaintMatty (1197), Tallinn, Estonia May 13, 2009 330ml Bottle - Hazy red/pink in colour. Sweet and slightly perfumed aroma with blackcurrant and forest fruits standing out. Fairly sweet taste with blackcurrant being very noticeable. The sweetness fades after a while and the finish is bittersweet and fruity with blackcurrant detected again. Tasty, not too sweet and very drinkable. beerbuzzmontreal (2909), Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 7, 2009 Pours a cloudy copper color with a thick offwhite head. The aroma is very sweet and fruity, it doesn’t appeal me much. Sadly, the flavor isn’t better, still very sweet and fruity. The body is light with an oily texture and moderate carbonation. I think the way too strong sweetness kills the whole tasting experience for this beer. TaxiDriver (908), Stadland, Germany May 3, 2009 Bottle. The aroma is very sweet and sugary, lemonade and berries. The head is very large, light pink and creamy. The body is orange-red. The taste is light sweet and dry, then it gets bitter. The body is dry with a rather lively carbonation and light. thewolf (5623), Kolding, Denmark Apr 13, 2009 Bottle, bought @ Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam.
Pours muddy pale red with a great, creamy, pink head. Heavy berry aroma, much like Ribena with black currants and some cranberries. Frothy mouthfeel, a bit watery. Flavour is lightly dry, some very slight tartness and good berry notes and some marzipan. Quite sweet, though. hughie (3016), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Apr 2, 2009 Bottle from St Neots BF ’09. Orange with a massive white head. Ribena aroma. Taste is initially sweet and fruity, but soon degenerates into an extremely metallic fizzy dryness. Not keen on this. Bart (1625), Vosselaar, Belgium Mar 24, 2009 Light hazy red coloured beer with a small white head and very little carbonation. Cranberry fruity candy sweet aroma. Medium sprankling palate. Finish si candy and fruity sweet, to much candy like for me, rather disappointing.
