The flavour has a nice berry flavour. Distinct, but not too much. A bit acidic, but nicely balanced. Starts off a bit thin, but grows on me. mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 10, 2006 Body is a pinkish orange with a big pale pink head. Would look really um... girly to drink in a bar. Strong blueberry aroma, the flavour has some fruitiness but not a lot. Despite containing sugar this is still slightly sour with a dry finish. Both the aroma and taste seem artificial. bluevegie (2233), Perth, Australia
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 21, 2006 Slightly hazy bright red body with large white head. Fairly sweet aroma of blackcurrant. Some of the blackcurrant in the taste but not very balanced and a bit too acidic. omhper (12335), Stockholm, Sweden

Non-surprising aroma of black currants. Sweetish and druity with light bodya nd clean mouthfeel. More elegant than most fruit ales, but the malt character is somewhat simplistic, and it is not very complex. Nekronos (2271), Xalapa, Mexico

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 4, 2006 (Bottled) Hazy reddish brown color with a small, disappearing head. Mild, only slightly sweet berry aroma. Dryish, somewhat acidic and yeasty flavor of berries. Quite light-bodied and low-carbonated palate. Not that enjoyable as a beer, but at least it avoids the typical cloying sweetness of fruit beers. Might work for some as a terrace drink. turbothy (728), Bonn, Germany
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 20, 2006 Pours reddish brown. Aroma is a bit nasty. Taste is like a wit with blackcurrant. Uninspired and average. jbrus (4916), Delft, Netherlands

I dislike blackcurrant a lot. And there’s lots of them in the aroma and flavor. So still, leaving that blackcurrant flavor out, it still isn’t a great beer.
