Dark brown, slight haze. Very little foam, poor lacing. Smell of roast caramel malts. Sweet taste of malts with very fresh and pleasant finish.

IT’s a nice coloured dark-red-brown bock. Flavor is sweet, but a bit on the watery side. A bit fruity too, fresh. It’s not bad, but not too good for a bock.

Tap at In De Wildeman. I thought this a dunkler bock, so I dunno. Raw cane sugar, beet, carrot juice aroma. Unfiltered brown pour. Strong cane sugar taste, a little salty, unexciting. Not great.

Pours clear, dark mahogany with a medium, creamy off-white head. Fizzes away rather quickly. Mild aroma with some slight caramel, toffee and fruitiness. Medium to high in carbonation. Flavour is sweet, some doughy character, light metallic off-note and good toffee. Light chocolate and hoppy finish. Okay.

Bière brun rouille, plutôt opaque, qui laisse une mince mousse beige crème qui disparaît rapidement. Nez houblonné, aux notes de levures, de caramel et d’herbes comme la coriandre. Le goût est moyennement amer, avec des arômes de farine rôtie. Il y a un goût de terre, celui des pois verts ou des fèves crues. L’arrière-goût rappel le caramel et le cigare. Elle est bien pétillante, rafraîchissante, quoique l’on puisse discerner une fine texture poudreuse. Une bien bonne bière, mais rien d’exceptionnel…

Flaske: Rødbrun uklar øl med et fint skumhoved. Duften er maltet med en smule gær. Smagen er let bruin med en kende surhed. Det er en udmærket øl, men bestemt ikke mere.

Bottle, 9C. Dark brown with a fluffy beige head. Aroma of toffee and bread. Taste is sweet with caramel and some dark berries before a dry, slightly spicy finish. Quite carbonated - liked it more after a few swirls. Nice balance but a bit anonymous.

Brown coloured, a beige head that should be bigger and hold better. Caramel, dark fruits, sweet, light hopped, malts and bread, decent spiced. Light roasted at both the smell and taste. Not bad.
