Laced wickedly as it went. The body an opaque, sandy straw with a lot of tight carbonation. Dominant three C’s on the nose - Caraway, Cardamom and coriander - all ground nicely to offer a dry, spicy and flowery edge to some softer notes of fresh squeezed lemon and candied pear. Quite nice. Concentrated lemon juice up first on the palate. Slight pine wood showing, good doughy, yeasty mouthfeel, not too gluggy. Very, very soft in carbonation - too much so. A lot of wheat, not sour, more a fresh reaped, cereal grain flavour. The oats are evident and interweave nicely. Cloves in back shier than the aroma. The other two spices have left the building. Lemon juice in and on the swallow. Light grainy, pasty aftertaste and after-feel. Quite refreshing, though the carbonation could be hyped up a little to make it bounce. As is it was a little heavy for a session. A good Wit, though, if ever there was one. (33cL, BB 06/07, Int’l Beer Shop, W. Leederville) bluevegie (2192), Perth, Australia

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 16, 2005 This beer has a light pale body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is sweet. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2004 Bottle. Unlike your normal witbier. Ths is a bit spicier, with a darker wheat character. I thought this was pretty tasty none-the-less. Slightly honeyed character. Nobbad. HermanW (624), Coevorden, Netherlands

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 9, 2003 Bottle at Lowlander Cafe, London. Strange pilsner like flavour in the aftertaste of this one. Slightly murky orange colour, and little head. The citrus is replaced by the hoppy character, but loses a little in refreshment. OK. bierkoning (6029), La Tropica, Netherlands

A later sample, well matured, convinced a bit more. Almost clear, blonde with a touch of orange, no foam, Orange with a touch of lemon and traubenzucker. Friendly witbier.
