I’ve never rated firebrick?!?
Pours a nice reddish copper color with a fluffy head. Aroma is fresh malt, very similar to that smell the lingers around breweries, with a mild hop presence. The flavor is a bright maltiness slightly spicy, rosy, with a zing of noble and citrus hops. There is a nice caramel thing happening all over this beer with just a faint smokiness, everything is kept fairly dry with that caramel malt just shining through keeping it al balanced. This is an old favorite that I had lost some love for over the years, but this bottle tastes great to me.

Draft at Axel,s MSP airport.
Pourd clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Medium sweet toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture with soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration.
Another average beer.

12oz bottle. Filtered brown-orange color. Thin, but respectable head. Sweet medium-dark malt aroma, a touch of seawater. Smooth and sessionable, medium bodied. There is some faint, dry, sandy hop bitterness that helps to balance out the deep, sweet malt tones. Pretty well done, though certainly not world class. Lacks some depth, certainly.

This beer ihas a medium copper color with a light head and little lacing. It has aromas of malt, a bit of grain and caramel with a hint of sweetness that I can’t place. It tastes slightly malty, sweet and a hint of bitterness.
It hit’s the back of the tongue with a bit of bitterness then vanishes. Good carbination and goes down easy with no long lingering aftertaste.
This is definitely a good session beer. This is one of the better examples of this style. Not the best but still worth the price.

At brewery. A nice rich amber with good head. Aroma of caramel and malt. Flavor a bit of caramel overpowering the hops. Not as refreshing as some in this style. A little weak on the finish, without a totally clean finish. OK.

Source: 12 oz bottle from a sampler purchased at Friar Tuck’s in Peoria. Glass: Poured into a shaker. Appearance: Poured a darkish amber color with a two finger tan head. Aroma: Aroma is a hint of caramel malt and some earthy hops. Flavor: Solid caramel malt base, but not much in the way of bitterness. . Palate: Medium body with good carbonation and a clean mouthfeel. Overall: Very drinkable brew. Would make a good session beer.

Where to start..... Far from a good beer this one rings in just barely above Budweiser.
