COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The beer is a traditional, German-style Gose (pronounced “Gose-uh”), using over 20 pounds of coriander spice in each brew. It has a bright lemon zest, coriander aroma and a slight saltiness that rounds out this new summer brew. The beer pours clear, golden orange in color, with a thick white foam head. A refreshingly light and citrusy tartness greets your palate, backed by a bready, wheat malt character.

Not sure if this is a Gose, but I enjoyed it for whatever it is. Basically a nice refreshing lager with some unique citrus and coriander notes. Nothing groundbreaking, but I could see myself drinking this during the summer months. Solid.

Bottle. Hazy golden with a thin head. Aroma of citrus and a hint of spice. Light body, crisp, a light tartness, and a dry citrus finish.

This pours a semi-hazy golden yellow color with only a slight head. The aroma is weak with a hint of grain. This flavor is weaker than I expected but interesting nevertheless. There is a weak grain flavor with a lingering dry after taste. Certainly worth a try.

Sample at Great Taste of the Midwest on 08/09/2014: Orange-amber color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, yeast and slight spice. Light-bodied with flavors of tart citrus, bready malt and yeast. Subtle saltiness in the background. The finish is fruity with a short citrus aftertaste. Barely average overall.

16oz. can from Zipp’s Liquors. Light citrusy nose, some spice. Medium dark straw/orange color. Light sweet fruit juice, with some citrus zest, chicken stock, bready, and very tiny coriander. Thin body. Not much tartness. Kind of a half-hearted take on the style. No real spice/salt tang.

Can shared by Scott. Pours a clear orange golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale, grainy, wheat malts, some bready character, corn, light citrus, salt, light spice. Just so so.

16oz can, thanks to Scott L. for sharing! Totally clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Dots of lace. Coriander, bready wheat aroma in the nose. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lightly crisp lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Kind of zesty taste, moderate sweet, light bitter. Nice lemon notes in the aroma, light spice. Alright gose, it’s solid.

12 oz bottle purchased as a single at France 44 in Minneapolis. 072514 printed on the bottle neck. The pour is crystal clear yellow golden with a well formed 1 ½ inch head that is quite lasting. The aroma is semi-sweet cereal grain malt along with a hint of the spice and salt. The taste is the cereal grain malt, slightly sweet, hint of lemon citrus, slightly dirty, muddled floral coriander and finishing with some of the salt. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and a lingering malt sweet, floral and salt after taste. Just OK.
