2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 dekester1 (260) - Neenah, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 11, 2010Poured a semi-dark gold with a light head which faded quickly to lace. Aroma was slightly sweet with malts and corn predominating. Taste of similar - malt and corn - with a slightly sweet hint and a very mild hop finish. Mouth feel was acceptable. Overall, not a bad ’fishing’ brew, as it is marketed as. I could potential re-purchase as ’lawnmower’ or ’fishing’ beer but that would be about it.

Just a really average beer that i find refreshing while basking in the sun in northern Minnesota. Not great, but good. grainy and a little malty and hoppy, thats it. slightly sweet, slightly bitter, pretty well balanced. Miss Walleye and sunfish always treat me well
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jmohno (831) - Iowa, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Clear yellow/gold.Half inch head with frothy decending lacing.Well carbed.
Aroma is sweet grain, corn maybe, slight noble grassy/floral.Very slight carmel/butter.Pretty good light aroma for a pale lager.
Taste is fairly creamy with light carmel/butter notes, medium body, mellow sweet grain, corn and mineral notes. Pretty good alltogether taste.
Nice mellow smooth finish slight citrus/raw plantygrassyness sorta pepper like in bittering. Smooth and mellow taste.
Pretty good sessionable pale lager.I havent had any average/below average beers from Schell, pretty good beers in my opinion.

Blonde gold body, with a dank beer-sopped bar aroma swiftly smashing the nose. A slight hint of garbage. The body is fairly breezy with some hop bitterness. Thinnish moutfhfeel. A spritz of sulfur on the finish.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 conciergeman (73) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 5, 2011
12oz bottle to pint glass. Pours nice golden color, with very slight aroma. Skimps even more on the taste, I found it to be very plain and almost "macro-light" tasting. Great labels, and historic brewery, but just a plain beer maybe o.k. for a steaming hot summer day.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear gold with white head. Aroma of malt, light grain and balanced hop. Flavor is much the same. Light body with high carbonation. Overall, not a bad pale lager at all! Enjoyed.

Slight crisp hoppiness to it, other than that the same old pale lager that’s been made numerous times.
0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 crossovert (4565) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 10, 2011
Just a stupidly branded adjunct lager. Teh taste is of corn and mineral water.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Suneson (58) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - JUN 22, 2010
Golden color. I expected a little more from this beer. Nothing more than a watered down beer you find at any bar. Great to drink when your on a boat and it is a 100 degrees outside.
