Deep golden almost coppery color was unexpected and spicey nose equally surprising, strong in taste and nice alcohol warming, Better than I anticipated, yet i choose to drink it thinking it would be thin and refreshing..

Bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours orange with a average size creamy white head that stays for the whole beer but leaving poor lacing. Looking through the glass it is sparking clear with alot of bubbles floating up. The aroma is pretty good, lots of malt aroma it had a grainy aroma at first. Then in the background there is some caramel. Takeing a drink I was quite disapointed, there is a metallic taste that covers any flavor up that should be there. Finally in the back ground once the initial metallic flavor dies away there is some caramel notes coming through. There is a slight bitterness but no hop flavor or aroma. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and fizzy carbonation. Overal I was not to impressed. From the aroma I had hopes for a good cean malty beer, but I got what tasted like a glass of nails with a hint of caramel.

Found this one bottled in Duluth, Minnesota. Clear, medium orange pour with a filmy white head, strong notes of grape and orange in the nose, mild floral hoppiness with a pronounced sweet candy finish. Interesting!

12oz bottle, last of my better know August Schell brewing company beers. Orange amber body with large quickly diminishing head. Pineapple aroma with sweet malt, lots of fruit, some dough, alc, pretty nice. Sour mash taste, small dough, lime, kind of acidic. Light body, fizzy carb. Not all too pleasing, but it has its moments. Overall I was very pleased with the August Schell beers and were more well done than I expected.

Blond in color. Thick head, overflowing the glass. Smells of bread, and of tomato juice. Leaves a bitter after taste. Not horrible, and not great. In between
