Light golden color with a little orange hue. Aroma and taste consist of malts and caramel. It felt very light in the mouth, but not so much that it seemed non-existant. Not the best by far, but quite tasty.

Jul 26, 2008 Very drinkable. Light flavor of apples and a bit of spice. I bit thin, but not bad. Great for a hot day at a festival in the park.

Jun 26, 2008 Rich gold hue; average head. Creamy carbonation; snappy texture. Filled with honey, flowers, herbs, spices, cereal and sweet grains. Nice, slightly hot alcohol nip in the background. Has some tripel characteristics, but with an unusal hop profile. Slightly cloying in the back of the throat. Not too shabby.

Jun 23, 2008 In the bottle. Thanks to hurrisnow. Pours a rich orange amber with a medium head. Has a decent toffee aroma. The body could be a bit thicker, but is not objectionable. I like the Gottberg Maibock much better.
