COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’ve found the key to what makes Fall so special, and its called Octoberfest. This rich, smooth lager uses a perfect balance of caramel, pale, cara-pils and black malts to create the best Octoberfest beer of the season. Available September through October.

Deep copper amber with thin beige head. Aroma of peaches and earth. Big biscuit flavor, nice hop finish. Some milk choclate excellent!

This is very ice, smooth, and very flavourful. It is copper with a big, dense, light tan head that lasts a long time, diminishing to a wispy head and laving some lacing. The aroma is grain, molasses, and flowery hops. The taste is similar, being fairly full but light, very interesting and constantly teasing the tongue, with a definite malty grain and caramel flavour, with a flowery, grainy finish and aftertaste. It is smooth and tasty, if a little on the mild, sweetish side.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2010 12 oz bottle. Copper color with two fingers of white head. Aroma and flavor are both sweet, malty goodness with an amazing finish that lets those notes linger on the tongue. Fantastic beer.

Great beer, I never would’ve believed it had a vanilla aroma untill I smelt it for myself. Very heavy in the malt maybe a bit harsh but not too bad. pour me another bootful

Had this on CASK on Winterfest, and was super prime times! Much better on cask then in bottle, and i liked it on bottle too; one of the better oktober brews i have had.

Amber color with a medium off-white head. It has a sweet and slightly spicy malt aroma. The taste is very smooth with a caramel touch and a nice lightly hopped finish. A well balanced Octoberfest.

This is probably the best Oktoberfest I’ve ever had. I had it in the Schell sampler pack which I bought at a great value of $6.99 at the local supermarket while in search of the ever elusive Schmidt.

Pours a beautiful dark golden with a good thick head and a lingering lacing. NIcely scented with caramel and a hint of spiciness. Wonderful body, very thick and rich. Good sweetness balanced with a hint of hoppiness. Definately on the upper echlon of Oktoberfests.

Pours a clear copper color, briefly topped by half an inch of light tan foam. No lacing. Caramel and toasted malt in the aroma with just a hint of cinnamon. The flavor is mildly sweet with some caramel and toasted malt. It is drier in the finish with a bit of hop bitterness. The beer is almost medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a lingering dry malt and hop aftertaste.

12 oz bottle. Pours a golden orange color with a nice beige head that has great retention and very nice lacing. Aroma is very heavy on caramel and grains. Smells nice, not too understated. The flavor is smooth and full. Nice caramel notes and it’s not as grainy as you might think from the nose. I can picture myself in a beer garden drinking many of these. Very easy to drink and very tasty.
