2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a decent golden orange with a nice frothy head of white. Aroma is retarded floral notes with buttery hops. Flavor is expired grapefruit and dull floral notes. Watery mouthfeel. Forgettable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours light gold with a 2 finger off white yellowish head, good retention, spotty lacing. Aroma is pine and floral hops along with some metallic malt notes. Flavor is pine, and herbal hops, malt notes are bread, and some dry biscuits and a tiny bit nutty as it warms. There is a sort of walnut skin, metallic bitterness that seems to show up in most of Schells brews that I dont find too endearing generally, but it kind of seems to find a home here. Nice long bitter finish, maybe a bit too long.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poors a golden color with virtually no head. Hoppy aroma of citrus and pine.
This is definitely not my style of beer. Too hoppy and bitter for me. Although the malts did come through a bit more as it warmed up.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Courtesy of Juart about a year ago (oops). Pours a deep honey amber orange with tons of sediment. A thick foamy head that has a little bit of lasting power. Nose is pine and flowery hops with some apple juice and a slight metallic note. The flavor has a slight fruity sweetness and a bitter that cuts through at the end, but just has tons of metallic rusty flavors and aromas. I’m sure this is my own fault for forgetting about it for so long. The hop character is a little weak now but it was probably once pretty decent. It does have a pretty solid full body.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Because it is from Schell, this is a very easy drinking Pale Ale, drinkable amounts of citrus hops, malt and light sweetness, with just a touch of bitter. A taste I would never tire of.

I’m not into Pale Ales much but this one alright. Good coIor and flavor. But I really diidn’t like the finish. It was kind of bitter...bitter in a bad way.

[Bottle] Pours a clear copper with a medium soapy head. Aroma is citric hops, and a little bit of malt. Flavor is a bit thin, but not bad. Typical hop profile with a little malt in the background.
