cigarsnbeer (146), Valley City, North Dakota, USA Mar 13, 2007 Amber in color with a large head, the aroma of hops tickles the nose. Fairly hoppy with a subtle malt finish. Would be very enjoyable to drink with Chuancy and Derek out on the links.
Naka (412), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 14, 2008 Courtesy of Juart about a year ago (oops). Pours a deep honey amber orange with tons of sediment. A thick foamy head that has a little bit of lasting power. Nose is pine and flowery hops with some apple juice and a slight metallic note. The flavor has a slight fruity sweetness and a bitter that cuts through at the end, but just has tons of metallic rusty flavors and aromas. I’m sure this is my own fault for forgetting about it for so long. The hop character is a little weak now but it was probably once pretty decent. It does have a pretty solid full body. hero12 (40), USA Jul 31, 2008 Updated: Aug 16, 2008Poured a clear brown color. Aroma of hops. Tasted of hops with a bitter finish. Superb overall beer, and a great pale ale. EHopper (118), Minnesota, USA Jul 26, 2008 Because it is from Schell, this is a very easy drinking Pale Ale, drinkable amounts of citrus hops, malt and light sweetness, with just a touch of bitter. A taste I would never tire of. SODAK14 (41), Rapid City, South Dakota, USA Jul 18, 2008 I’m not into Pale Ales much but this one alright. Good coIor and flavor. But I really diidn’t like the finish. It was kind of bitter...bitter in a bad way. MatSciGuy (181), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Jul 14, 2008 [Bottle] Pours a clear copper with a medium soapy head. Aroma is citric hops, and a little bit of malt. Flavor is a bit thin, but not bad. Typical hop profile with a little malt in the background.
