3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 vikingguy (456) - Chaska, USA - SEP 22, 2009
Pours a light golden color w/ white head. Aroma of sweet fruity malt, corn, floral hops. Pleasantly surprised at first taste. Nice body, good dry hop bite, clean aftertaste, minimal sweetness...aroma smells sweeter than the taste. I think this is a great representation of the style...it’s a very basic pilsener, but it’s done right. To sum up: clean, dry, refreshing, enjoyable.

Pours a pale golden color. Aroma is bready with a tinge of floral hops.
The taste is perfect with a medium, bready sweetness offset by lightly spicy hop flavor that adds earthy, floral notes and hints of citrus. A wonderful crispness in the finish sets this beer apart making for an amazing brew.

Bottle at Minneapolis Beer Fest. Very light yellow pour, minimal head. A little grassy, slightly sweet, a little fizzy - and that’s about it.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2011 Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Pilsner glass.
Appearance: Light, slightly hazy, yellow with moderate white head and slight lacing lines.
Aroma: Mostly straw and grass, with some apple, pear and peppery hops.
Taste: Fairly similar to the smell but a little more pronounced. Grassy, grainy and straw-like, with sweet apple and pear. Has a peppery finish that is just a little bit bitter. Doesn’t quite seem like a true Pilsner to me, as it has some of the sweeter, more grainy qualities of a Euro Lager.
Palate: Moderately high carbonation, light body that is almost creamy, not quite as dry as I like in a great Pilsner.
Overall: Great thirst quencher. Once again, seems to fall between a German Pilsner and a Euro Lager.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

Nice, enjoyable pilsener. Pours pale, cloudy straw yellow with a nice, thick white head. Nose of honey, hallertau hops, and biscuit. Flavor is light, floral hops, honey, and biscuit. Nice, dry finish.
