3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 oldbaldguy (17) - , Minnesota, USA - NOV 6, 2009Bottle, poured up with a rich, white creamy head. Brilliant light gold color. Hop bitterness is very crisp and true to style. I found a very metallic aroma that was a bit distracting. Other than that, the malt, hop balance was right on and this one was good.

12 oz bottle pours a pale golden color with moderate white head and a little lacing. Aroma has grass, grains, and some floral hops. Taste is slightly bitter with a short finish. Body is light with average carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. Nothing negative here, but nothing to rave about, either.

Nice easy drinker for a warm day - it is 20 outside (F not C)! Clear yellow in color with a large white head. Does remind me of the beer in Czech Republic, maybe a bit less bitter. Would not mind having a few of these after mowing the lawn.

Poured a nice mid-gold with a frothy head that faded slowly to lacing which remained throughout. Aroma was a mix of hops with a slight pear hue along with malts. Pearish hops predominate the taste although a nice malty backbone comes thru. Palate was nice. Overall a decent, drinkable pilsner.
