Clear copper with a large taupe crown that fades slowly away. Aroma of moderate funk with banana, caramel, spices, mild fruit and some bready malt. Taste is yeasty with banana, spices, bready malt, mild tomato and a spicy and somewhat funky finish. Nice change of pace.

Pours a ruby amber with a medium tan head. Aroma is sweet malt and fruits. Flavor is sweet caramal malt, plums, prunes, apples, yeast, and spices. Medium body with medium carbonation. Pretty decent seasonal.

Pours a nice looking amber with a medium sized tan head. Nose is spices with a whiff of hops. Fairly creamy on the palate, the taste is malty with some caramel and ginger notes. Slight hop flavor on the finish, still rather sweet though. A good winter warmer.

Aroma is grainy malts and hints of dark fruit and Belgian funk. The flavor is malts, bubblegum, dark fruit and a mildly spicy/tart finish.

Pours a clear amber with white head. Fragrant fruity aroma, mainly sour cherry. Taste - malty & spicy. Cinnamon, nutmeg, cherry & vanilla. On the thin side. Tastes like Christmas.

Here it goes had this 2 months apart and in those 2 months it was almost a totally different beer strange... December it was awesome sweet sour almost like a jolly rancher one of the best and strangest beers i ever had. Wild... 2 months later had another and it had mellowed quite a bit still good but darker in color and a lot of the original flavors were gone leaving a kind of dark winter ale in its place nice job Schells!!!

12 oz. bottle. Pours dark copper with a quick tight soapy khaki head that fades and leaves a thin foamy collar and film. Aroma is sweet malt and some fruit and spice. Taste is malty and subtle spice with a fruitiness that is a bit of plum and apple and yeast is present. Palate is medium and a little medicinal as well as musty and finishes dry.

12 oz. bottle, consumed on 11-25-12. Juicy, tangy, mineral-y, strong, refreshing, enjoyable aroma features bubblegum, caramel, lemon, peach, raspberry, and whipped cream / cool whip scents. Pours an effervescent, clear brass / light amber color. Large amount of fluffy, uneven, peach / “skin”-colored head. Good, extensive lacing. Nearly worthy of a 4 in appearance. Sweet, sugary, milky, juicy, mineral-y taste features apricot, caramel, and honey elements. Excessively sweet. Mineral-y aftertaste. Light to medium body. Easy to drink. Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, Minnesota. Pours a clear copper amber colored brew with an average sized off-white head that dissipates to a film top and white ring with some spotty lacing. Aroma of light banana yeast, multi-grain malt, some white bread dough and a touch of holiday potpourri. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of Belgian-like yeast, hint of molasses, light raisin, citrus/floral hops with a hint of nutmeg. Finish is mildly spicy with lingering yeast aftertaste.
