Mighty fine brew. Golden pour with a small white head. Very crisp, hoppy taste with a citrus tang in the aftertaste. Very good beer. This would hit the spot on a hot day.

bottle from dalz on 1/16/11. old beer but served in the proper glassware! pale citrus blossom honey color with an airy white head. it leaves soft rings of foam on the glass. there is a metallic smell at first which disappears to reveal notes of orange, sweaty grain and cooked peaches. the flavor is made up of yeast, citrus, grainy bitterness and peppery spice on the finish. the aftertaste is very bready and leaves a little sludge. 6/3/6/3/14

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

Poured a nice golden color, with not much of a head on it. Had a rather light citrus taste and very drinkable.

Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer for style.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Lagerish looking brew. Aroma of light malt, wheat, citrus and honey. Flaver starts with simple light grains and finsihes with a bit of toast and honey. Everything is light an dlow key, but very well done. A nice brew!

The Zommerfest is a yellow-ish beer with low-to-moderate head. The aroma has some hops and a light level of citrus. Upon sipping, the malt flavor comes through; it’s similar to many other lagers, with a hint of cereal. It’s very lightly sour. The palate isn’t unusual in anyway. The beer, overall, is fine.
