   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 8/20
Grima (2098) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - FEB 7, 2012
Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

culchiem (2518) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUN 27, 2011
Bottle. Honey colour with a thin head. Aroma of malt and stone. Flavour of strong syrupy malt with a very bitter, almost artificial palate. Would go well with salty crisps. Medium carbonation

Test vom 29.9.2005 Noten: 9,6,9,7,6,6 - 6,90

shrubber85 (7594) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 31, 2010
Bottle. Light barnyard barley malt aroma. Clear golden yellow color with moderate head. Lightly sweet barley malt flavor with a moderate barnyard/hay finish. Nice body. An excellent beer - infinitely superior to any other German beer called a "lager".

Ungstrup (29286) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 27, 2009
Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and straw, as well as lighter notes of honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel, as well as lighter notes of honey, leading to a dry, bitter, and strawy finish.

   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 11/20
pivnizub (8853) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 27, 2009
Bottle: Golden coloured, small, but stable white lacy foamy layer; grainy-dusty nose with a light touch of lemons and peppermint (!), cardboard, too; light bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied as well; grainy influences in the short, chewy sweet-bitter finish. Nothing to complain, but a bit too bland.........

MiP (13598) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JAN 27, 2009
Bottle, 4.9%. Fruity hop aroma. Clear golden colour. Stable white head. The flavour is quite malty and very chalky. Medium bitterness, getting a bit rough in the finish, like a true lager.

Papsoe (25085) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2008
(Bottle 50 cl) Clear golden with a rough white head. Malty aroma. Medium body with a slightly unclean malt profile and a dry finish. Not bad as such - just very unspectacular. 180808
