bottle from Edeka Besenbeck Neuendettelsau. Clear pale yellow, large, creamy white head. Lovely resiny hop aroma. Light and elegant malty background with lots of dry, resiny and slightly grassy hops, very "Franconian" hop profile plus some good bitterness. A very nice beer.

Poured into .2 l beer glass. Fizzy head faded fast, almost no lacing on glass. This beer has a bite to it, a sharp taste combining with the carbonation for a nice party on your tongue. Crisp and clear pilsener with an edge. I wasn’t expecting something this good from a brewery I’d never heard of, a very pleasant surprise. This was purchased from a getrankmarkt in Nuremburg area, so I assume it is local to Franconia.

Bajor Kolbászda, Budapest. Áttetsző világos arany szín és közepes méretű, közepesen kitartó laza fehér hab jellemzi. Illata malátás, üde és komlós. Íze is meglehetősen egyszerű, a vékony malátás alapra érkezik egy szép adag finom, aromás komló (Hallertau?), az egész olyan friss és könnyed. Közepesen testes, élénken szénsavas és kellemesen keserű, jóféle német Pils. Nekem kifejezetten tetszett, habár semmi kiemelkedőt nem tud.
