tfredvik (1700) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 20, 2016
Clear, deep brown body with a small, beige, long-lived head that sticks to the glass. Malty and strong aroma of massive sweet and dark caramel, lightly roasted malt and malt extract. The strong flavour is also totally dominated by both sweet and dark caramel and other notes of lightly roasted malt. In the back I get malt extract, chocolate, brown sugar, wood, vanilla and alcohol. Moderate sweet and moderate bitter taste. Medium body, smooth on the palate, soft carbonation. A good one, if you like caramel.
[50 cl bottle, enjoyed 3 months before BB date, from Vinmonopolet Online]

chimayx (25) - FRANCE - FEB 11, 2016
