IlBevitorediLA (452) - ITALY - MAR 1, 2013
Aroma complesso, zuccherino, fruttato. Marroncina con un bel cappello di schiuma. Al palato ingresso dolce dominato dai malti, molto complessa ma elegantissima. Sentori di prugna, mou, e frutta secca. Chiude in maniera splendida con una leggerissima luppolatura. Calda, buona, equilibrata. Da bere a litri.

Dorqui (2113) - Brescia, ITALY - JAN 15, 2013
Bottled 0,50L. Dark reddish color, impenetrable with a long duration bubbly aspect. Optimal foamy head. Much complex and round nose; notes of roast malty, mighty alcoholic, caramel. Medium prickly taste, little overbanding alcoholic perception with a good bitternes final with notes of liqueur and hop.

Dobry i treściwy doppelbock. Ciemny, machoniowy kolor i kremowa piana. W smaku rozgrzewa w zimowe wieczory, bardzo aromatyczne i smaczne piwo. Polecam

The head is ok, the body brown. It smells sweet, maltaromatic, creamy-sirup. The taste is malty, maltaromatic, darkmalty, sirup, sweet, a bit alcoholic. Overall intensive and tasty. 11/11/11/11/11/11

zimbo (608) - SCOTLAND - NOV 20, 2012
Consisten level smooth quarter inch head on top of a very dark brown (with an orangy crystal sparkle) body. Dry nose, slightly carbonic to start that takes time to open. Could really do with more richness and dimension though considering what it promises. Another doppelbock with that hard tannic quality which imprisons all that sweet morish juiciness.

A clear light brown colored beer, with a small beige head. The aroma of dark fruits, prune and raisins, a little spices and malty notes. The taste of fruits like prunes, cherries with some spices hops and dark malt. The aftertaste is sweet, with bitter and hints of spices.

500 ml bottle. Heavy beer with a bitter aftertaste and yet somehow mild. Not bad.

Medium brownish head, clear red-brown colour. Roasty caramel aroma. Great taste and a sweet, coffee-caramel palate. Fantastic beer.

Thomasalias (320) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 27, 2012
0,5l bottle from Sörspecialista, Budapest. Clear, dark brown coor with quickly dimishing light brown head. Malty, sweet, alcohol and liqueur aroma - as a usual doppelbock. Heavy sweet taste. Heavy body, creamy texture, average carbonation. The aftertaste has caramel flavour. It’s a heavy and sweet beer. This is a good example of abbey doppelbocks, no more, no less. Good one.

Skinnyviking (7231) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 5, 2012
Bottle. High and long lasting lovely creamy off-white head. Clear goodlooking red brown body. Roasted malt caramel sweet hay bisquit aroma. Stangely thinbodied flavor with that relately high alcohol percentage. Sweet malty caramel grass dusty hay flavor. Little hops bitterness. High carbonation. Long sweet finish.
