Ibrew2or3 (6843) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 1, 2011
Classic German style 50cl bottle pours clear amber with deep ruby hues and thin off white head. The aroma has nice caramel candy notes mixing with a touch of scorched toffee, more caramel candy and faint sweet dark fruity esters. The taste begins with both spicy hops and some caramel malts and caramel candy. To midway it gets a bit earthy and yeasty as well as a mild level of dark fruity esters. Into the finish the caramel candy like note comes forward and takes this into the after taste. Solid brew with a few odd notes here and there.

Pours clear dark chestnut. Frothy off-white head that soon disappears. Bread and caramel in aroma, some liqourice. Medium carbonation, fine light and a bit fat mouthfeel. Flavour has mostly toasted caramel, some rye bread. Light bitterness. Fine.

Bov (9443) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 12, 2011
courtesy of fiulijn - clear brown beer with a poor and chaotic foam left; simplistic nose with notes of toffee; medium-bodied and tasteless, some sweetness and no bitterness; more notes of butter and caramel in the finish - unpleasant

ElDesmadre (1524) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUL 11, 2011
Bottle. Dark brown but transparent with a frothy, sustaining head. Very mild aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coffee and some very vague banana-like fruitiness in the background. Medium carbonation, taste is as mild as the aroma. Gently roasted malt with a very moderate bitterness. O.k. beer, a bit one-dimensional though.

Test vom 14.6.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,7,7,7,11,6 - 7,10

Bottle 50cl, a dark amber beer with good head. Nose is on caramel malt and brown bread. Aroma is on caramel malt, notes of dark malt, brown bread body, low hop character and bitterness. Pleasant dunkel, rather classic.

Bottle, 5,4% alcohol, from Trinkgut. Brown, small head. Aroma has roasted malts, caramel. Smooth taste, sweetish, short to medium finish, affordable but not that special for me.
