Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, roasted, caramel, nutty, brown sugar notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081122]

Bottled. A brown beer with a huge tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw as well as light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, malt, and caramel. The body is thin.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a diminished white head. Dry malty and slight wooden aroma. Solid caramel malty flavoured with a mild wooden note. Dry malty flavour following. Mild spiced into the finish.

Bottle 50 cl courtesy of yespr. Clear orangey brown with an off-white head. Aroma of burned caramel and pumpernickel. Medium body, sweetish roasted malt and a little burned caramel. Dry finish with a subdued bitterness. 221108

Bottled@Björntasting. Reddish amber colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel malts, some sugary notes as well as some dark dry fruits and raisins. Flavour is dark fruits, some mild toasted notes as well as rather burnt sugary as well.

Bottled. Orange-brown, small head. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Solid and caramelly, lightly buttery with low bitterness.

Bottle. Clear orange coloured with a small off white head. Sweet aroma of malts and caramel with notes of grain and dried fruits. Sweet flavour of malts, caramel and grain with notes of cardboard and hops. Hoppy finish.

Bottle, 5.4% as Kloster Scheyern Kloster Export Dunkel. Weak, roasted dark malt aroma. Nice, clear, dark chestnut colour. Unstable light brown head. The flavour is mildly roasted with a little sweetness to balance. Soft carbonation. Very nice flavour, subtle, but still flavourful.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, toasted malt and hops.

500ml bottle at St Albans BF 2007. 5.4% Mahogany colour with lasting beige head. Clean drinkable dunkel with a bit of lager puky malt. Nothing special, some choc/coffee. But a little boring. Slight sting on end.
