Dobry niemiecki klasztorny dunkel. Bardzo aromatyczny o ciemno-brązowym kolorze. Piana ładna i puszysta, karmelowe nuty i lekka chmielowa nuta. Słodycz nie dominuje tylko się równoważy i wspaniale uzupełnia z chmielem.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 judasbeer (431) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 15, 2010
Appearance: Pours a deep coppery, amber color with a medium-sized, airy muddy, beige head.
Aroma: Attractive unity of a mellow prunes, sweet caramel candies a touch of acorn oily/maple syrupy feel with a gentle hop spiciness.
Flavor: Roasted chestnuts dipped in a sweet almondy, caramel-sauce and spiced with a bit of german noble hops. A slight sour lager yeasty notes at the mid-palate.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Medium bodied dark lager with a perfect sweet-dry balance on the palate. Smooth, easy carbonation with a slipping yeasty background.
Overall: An easy-driking dark lager with rich melanoidin sweetness and an extra dark fruity complexity. Yumm, yumm.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 McTapps (1484) - Ruhrgebiet, GERMANY - SEP 27, 2012
Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Dark brown with steady head in looks. Aroma of malt and roasted nuts. Taste is a pure explosion of flavours: Deep, rich malt meets Pumpernickel (dark German sour-bread) and combines rum raisins. Sweetish, low bitterness, medium-balanced carbonation. Nice and easy to drink.

Nice mild malt taste with tiny sweetness and small but balanced bitterness. Big drinkabillity.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ibrew2or3 (5761) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 1, 2011
Classic German style 50cl bottle pours clear amber with deep ruby hues and thin off white head. The aroma has nice caramel candy notes mixing with a touch of scorched toffee, more caramel candy and faint sweet dark fruity esters. The taste begins with both spicy hops and some caramel malts and caramel candy. To midway it gets a bit earthy and yeasty as well as a mild level of dark fruity esters. Into the finish the caramel candy like note comes forward and takes this into the after taste. Solid brew with a few odd notes here and there.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 crowderm (357) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 6, 2009
Clear, reddish brown pour with a thin but persistent off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, wet wood, moss and a little toffee. Flavor is relatively sweet. Roasted malt, caramel, dark bread, dark fruit. Only the slightest hint of hop bitterness in the finish. This beer is pretty good, though the only thing I find really excellent about it is the balance of all the flavors. Everything comes together nicely in a very satisfying, if not remarkable package.
