On tap. Not an amazing beer like the dunkelweisse or doppelbock, but it is ok. Clear gold and a tall white head. It is full flavored with malt, and some yeast, and this is one of those styles that only has so much to offer even at its best.

50 cl bottle in Hamburg. Pours pale golden with a huge frothy white head. Aroma is light grainy malts, some apples and grass. Taste is dry with a moderate grassy bitterness all the way, medium bodied, dry and grassy mouthfeel, nice one.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Easy going lager with some citrus and herbs in the aroma. Nice one but still quite average.

Poured a golden colour, small head, retained some lacing, clear. Aroma was slightly malty with notes of apple. Tasted honey, malt, grass and apple, finish was slightly doughy. Had a light body, soft carbonation, smooth enough to go down easily. Overall great value for the price (10.99€ for 20 0.5 litre bottles). Beer was balanced and refreshing. Would say it borders a Maerzen.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottles picked up at local REWE - this being the only unknown bottle at my local supermarket that looked remotely non-macro, picked it up for sessioning. Somewhat ridiculous looking vintage-inspired Label with more Latin dicta than German indications. Pours a translucent hayish yellow-green, very light body. nose of sweet grains and hay. Taste is some grassy hops, dry malts, light pepper/spice, but very watery all in all. Good thirst quencher, nothing is off, but this will not turn the reputation of Bayern Helles remaining the comatose man’s table water.

Dobre mało gożkie piwo, ale za słodkie także nie było. Takie uniwersalne pasujące do potrawy, z fajną pianą, nie za mocną ale trzymającą się jakoś.

Also a bit to much like a Pilsener. I hoped for a different taste in a more "yeasty" way.

50cl Bottle from bierkoning, thanks Edo! Just light misty golden colour, white head. Aroma of floral and light bready malts, fresh hay, malty sweetness. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, light floral, hint of sweet lemon, light grassy finish. Light to medium-bodied. Decent stuff.
