Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. A hazy copper coloured beer that pours with a white creamy head. It has a banana, chocolate and vanilla flavour with a biscuit, toffee apple and spicy fruity lemon finish. Nice!

Ein Dunkles wie man es mögen kann. Dunkel und fruchtug mit ordentlichen Teilen Pflaume, Hefe und Weizen. Trinkbar, dick, fruchtig. Kein Klassiker, aber ein solides Bier.

Bottle from Getränke Kistner in Forchheim. The beer pours out in a deep dark brown hazy colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of bread and dark roasted wheat. Taste of dark bread, malt, roast, woods, yeast, wheat and light nuts. Easy drinkable and enjoyable.

My Bottom Line:
The typical banana esters and cloves roam about this easygoing Dunkel Weizen, building a few refreshing moments.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sticky sheet of foam covers the cloudy brown.
-This Dunkel Weizen avoids being caramelly, which I appreciate.
-The body is light and quaffable.
-Carbonation levels are very high.

Bottle; pours amber with an off white head; aroma is sweet with yeast, caramel, and banana; taste is light sweet caramel, banana, and yeast with some light spice; wet finish; very smooth with little bitterness

0.5L bottle. Pours cloudy dark brown with a huge, frothy off-white head that lingers. Strong, and typical weiss aromas of banana and yeast. Mild-medium sweetness at beginning, transitions to citrus, banana and yeast at the end, leaving a lingering, yeasty bitterness. Medium-full body with a creamy mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Overall, decent enough, but nothing standing out here.

A hazy, dark orange to cola brown coloured beer with a huge frothy and thick white head. A strong aroma of tropical fruit, specifically bananas on opening the bottle. A background caramel malt also brings forth a mild spiciness. Dry mouthfeel. A mild malt flavour to start, caramel and sweet spice, clove and cinnamon is followed by a fruitiness that adds a hint of sourness towards the end. The finish is balanced with equal amounts of sweet caramel and sour fruit.

Dark brown hazy body, tallest and densest frothy head I’ve seen on a beer so far. Smells like caralled sugar and slightly fruity. Haven’t had a dunkel weissbier as bitter as this one. Traces of yeast, wheat and leaves. Soft finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Yoav. Hazy brown with white head. Sweet caramel-molasses aroma, with honey-floral notes. Sweet taste, a little juicy. A little plastic, mildly carbonated, long, slightly yeasty and floral finish.
