Klassisches, aber sehr süffiges Kellerbier mit ein paar Malzen und gar etwas Frucht. Süffig, trinkbar, aber letztendlich Massenware.

Bottle from Pivnizub - many thanks, Günther! Pours out in a light cloudy dirty golden colour with airy head and medium body. Aroma of straw and dust. Taste of light malt, barley, straw, hops and citrus. Sweet-nutty finish. Nice one - very refreshing and solid.

Bottle 500ml (MBS)
Amber color, decent off-white head, some lace. Aroma is quite weak, some berries and grains. Medium-bodied. Flavor is a bit grainy, sweetish berryness, light hoppy note in the finish. Nice maltyness. I suppose this quite decent imitation of real Zoigl (well, not had one yet).

Bottle. Amber, hazy, (beer rushes out of bottle) large and very quickly diminishing head. Light to moderate to full, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel and faint roasted malt, faint sourness. Body is light to medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and faint roasted malt, light metal. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and light roasted malt - bread, light metal. Bit thin kellerbier with notes of sharp metal. Comes out of the bottle by itself.

fantti (759) - FINLAND - AUG 22, 2013
Pours coppery and hazy, head is very large and vanishes quite quick. Aroma has rye-like graininess, grass and little flower-like aromas. There is indeed a lot of graininess in this beer. Taste is also very rye-like and grainy, there is also a lot of dried fruits. Palate is medium, you can almost chew the grains. On the other hand very full, on the other hand very fresh. Very grainy and full-bodied kellerbier.

Bottle. Cloudy amber, quite carbonated, huge golden head. Fruity yeast notes. Medium to light body, somewhat fizzy. Spicy start, like lemon-pepper, citric fruityness from yeast and hops, minerals. Quick finish. Pleasant.

bottle, picked up in amberg, enjoyed at 4th of july tasting with mowbeer and skykob. quite dark for a zoigl - copperish with a faint haze and a lingering off-white head; rusty honeyed tea aroma; hints of stewed pear and baking soda with modest bitterness; tasty stuff

Bottle. Copper color. Just a hint of citrus in the aroma. Malty bready, slightly citric flavor. Limited, but very well intergrated hopbitterness. Good one!
