Bottle. Cloudy amber, quite carbonated, huge golden head. Fruity yeast notes. Medium to light body, somewhat fizzy. Spicy start, like lemon-pepper, citric fruityness from yeast and hops, minerals. Quick finish. Pleasant.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki (old backlog). Amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild earth, some toasted notes as well as some mild grassyness. Flavour is caramel, some floral and mild toffeeish notes with some grass and herbs as well. Smooth carbonation.

bottle, picked up in amberg, enjoyed at 4th of july tasting with mowbeer and skykob. quite dark for a zoigl - copperish with a faint haze and a lingering off-white head; rusty honeyed tea aroma; hints of stewed pear and baking soda with modest bitterness; tasty stuff

Bottle. Copper color. Just a hint of citrus in the aroma. Malty bready, slightly citric flavor. Limited, but very well intergrated hopbitterness. Good one!

Würzig herber Beginn mit leichten, angenehmen Hopfennoten. Malziger mit leichen Schokoladennoten im Mittelteil, vollmundig. Nun konstant würzig, wobei der Malzeinfluss noch etwas ansteigt. Herb-malziger Abgang und Nachgeschmack. Gefällt! 7/11/11/12/9/11

draft at Schiessl in Amberg. rusty orange and clear with a foamy off-white head with lasting retention. nose is toasty cereal grains, light toffee malt, light gravel / minerals (not bad) and mild red apple. overall a bit rough and coarse with evern harsher carbonation than malt. moderately toasty caramel apple flavor lingers. medium acid and low bitterness. clean and somewhat zesty but rough and prickly.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, 20110815) The beer poured brown and quite cloudy. Its head was large and lightly brown. Aroma had grass, grain and malts. Palate was less than medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, grain, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy and bitter. A very nice tasting beer - the looks and palate could be better.

It’s hazy copper with a huge, creamy head, and the aroma has notes of caramel, light nuts and a very light sourness. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of caramel, roasted malt, nuts, light citrus and a light sourness in the dry finish.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Pale amber color with slight haze. Sweet malty, nutty and toffeish aroma. Sweet nutty, bready and toffeish taste. Full body.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Hazy brownish colour, large white head. Nutty, robust malty base, hints of dried fruit. Slightly yeasty, good hoppy finish.
