Very clear pale golden coloured body with hints of grey and clear water. Aroma of nice pale apples, yeast, metal, oak, pears ,flowers and way more apples. Light apple flavour with some yeast, dry wood, flowers and oddly enough, oak noticeable. Aftertaste is clean but very drying with the oak and flowers front and centre with a touch of apple sweetness, but a nicely layered and still pungent cider. Overall, one of the better ciders i’ve had recently and a good option for those seeking something different from the style. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Alexandria (Old Town), Virginia on 28-December-2014 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Washington on 03-March-2015.

Can. Clear light gold pour. Aroma is mild oak and vanilla, mild honey, and apple. Taste is mildly tart, and also a bit sweet. This is okay.

Can from Bruisin’ Ales - pours clear gold with lots of tiny bubbles. Big smokey, oaky, vanilla, and aroma. Nice tartness, I like!

Tart apple with a smoky finish. Clear appearance. Assertive yeast tastes almost Belgian. Oak gives depth and darkness, but possibly overdone. Lingering liquid smoke.

Pours a nice golden color with little foam. Oak comes through with notes of vanilla and honey. Dry and nicely balanced sweetness.

Can from Haggen’s Grocery, Woodinville
Blond color. Light aroma. The mouthfeel is a bit softer than usual, maybe sweeter in its dryness, moderate acidity, not much apple flavor, maybe some oak, and a metallic finish.
Messy.

12 oz. can, pours a clear lightly yellow-tinged clear colour with no head. Nose brings out cheap apple juice and some woody notes. Flavour is simplistic, with lots of cheap apple juice and very light oak. Very cheap and simplistic. Drinkable enough, with a lightly tart (not in a good way) finish. Not very nice.

$2.45 can, Wine Warehouse. Pours clear light yellow, bubbly, no head. Smells of wet dog, apple, and champagne. Tastes of bittersweet apple... champagne.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours pale gold with no head. Aroma is a rather smoky thing. Light sweet apple behind the smoke. Med body, almost. Flavor is mildly tart apple, with smoke, and some wood astringency. It finishes more smoky than otherwise. Must have been old single malt barrels. Tho how that could relate to NW oak?

Very hard for me to drink, because I’m not big on whiskey and this has very strong whiskey aroma and taste. Lots of vanilla and of course apple. Pretty dry, not bad, but man its strong whiskey notes.
