*Old rating, best before 17.08.10. Thanks to kevnic2008. Schönes frisch-florales, leicht grasiges Pils. Süffig, aromatisch, leicht süßlich, lecker!

Not that I’m a big fan of just any Pilsener and seeing this beer with its ugly old-school label design I just had a scary feeling when opening the bottle. But -thanksfully- I was proofed wrong and this beer turned out to be quite decent and -for being a Pilsener- even quite delicious. It has got a golden colour, steady head and crisp body. Nose of hops. Taste of medium bitter hops, mild grains, grass, spruce, orange peel and straw. Easy to drink with a medium high carbonation. Refreshing, good.

Flasche vom gefako in Reutlingen.

Pale golden colour with tiny white head. Grassy hoppy aroma with some maltiness and hints of paper and salt.

Draught at the Brauereigaststätte zur Krone, in Neustetten
Blond color; generous head; nice lace. There is some nice malt aroma, light. Balanced body, with some malt flavor and correct bitterness. It’s just a bit better than most commercial examples, but nothing special.

Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, modest hoppy, not too dry. A bit dusty moldy. Finish still mild with small hints of lemon. Okay, but could be more drinkable.

Bottle (courtesy of Quack-Duck!): Greenish-golden, a bit unclear, big stable creamy white head, "greenish"-grassy hops in the bitter-sweet nose; solid bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft; slightly lingering dryish grassy-bitter finish, uncompletely balanced by some pale malt. Not bad.......

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Grassy (green-glass) aroma with herbal accents and a mild malty sweetness. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malt-character with distinctively grassy accents; quite dry, moderately bitter and grassy finish. 17.III.10
