500 ml flip-top bottle from Wasana’s in Germany. Pours a nice dark clear brown color with a dark tan head. Aroma is sweet wheat, malt and wood. Taste is a nice mix of the same. Palate is very good and smooth and sweet.

Pours a dark amber/brown with a small tan head. Caramel and malt on the nose. Smooth and light malt on the tongue. Decent but nothing to write home about.

Some fruity aromas to this beer and the color is right but I got some off flavors of earthy and off ketones or esters. Maybe I got a bad batch as this had to go down the drain.

Ein süßmalziges Bier, das sich gut trinken lässt, aber auf der anderen Seite auch keinen bleibenden Eindruck hinterläßt. Dafür ist es einfach zu glattgeschliffen.

Brown with a lasting tanned head. Aroma and flavour of toasted malt, caramel, dark fruit and nuts.

The head is medium, the body brown. It tastes darkmalty, a bit smokey, malty, interesting. Ok 10/11/9/9/10/10

Pours a dark brown with a frothy beige head. Aroma is nutty and slightly roasted malt. Taste is clean, fairly crisp, slightly roasted and some chocolate points. Fairly boring but all around good beer.

Das Bier beginnt herb, im langen Nachgeschmack ist es eher röstmalzern. Insgesamt sehr süffig, lecker!

Clear orange brown with a large beige head. Aroma is malty, roasted malt, caramel and dusty hops. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Finish is dry and a bit dusty. This feels more like a brown ale than a dunkel, and that’s not a bad thing. 150211

Bottle. Reddish brown with an off-white long lasting head. Aroma of toasted malts. Similar flavour with caramel and a nice creamy finish.
